The Veterinary Assistants and Laboratory Animal Caretakers 2 course prepares students to understand the differences between animal welfare and animal rights, explain the role of animals in research, understand proper sanitation for animal facilities, how to maintain and analyze records, explain diagnostic testing and use of equipment, and understand internal and external parasites and control methods.
