Program Purpose:
The purpose of the Veterinary Assisting Career Certificate Program is to prepare students with essential animal care knowledge and foundational skills for employment as veterinary assistants, technologists, or technicians. The program offers a thorough grounding in veterinary assistant skills and provides training opportunities for those currently working in the field but not yet certified. Upon successful program completion, students will have an opportunity to take the Certified Veterinary Assistant certification exam.
Note: This program is only offered at the TSC Wakulla Center in Crawfordville, Florida.

750 clock hours
Admission Requirements:
Students must be a minimum of 16 years of age to enroll in this program.
