MEA1010C Principles of Radiology2 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): BSC2085 and HSC2531 The course introduces basic understanding of X-ray production, proper equipment uses, including potential malfunctioning concerns, prevention, and diagnostic procedures; technical factors affecting X-rays, processing film in the laboratory, computed radiography, and evaluation of X-rays. Clinical instruction will emphasize procedures on upper and lower extremities, chest and abdomen, as well as podiatric X-ray procedures. Contact: 2 hours. Does not count towards A.A. degree.
