MEA1265C Laboratory Procedures I4 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): BSC2085 and HSC2531
The course will constitute an introduction to clinical laboratory equipment and basic laboratory diagnostic testing of urine and serum. The student will learn the chemical, physical, and microscopic examination of urine through laboratory demonstrations and lectures. In addition, students will learn proper techniques for specimens to be appropriately tested. Pharmacology aligned with the laboratory will be provided. Contact: 4 hours. Does not count towards A.A. degree.
