MEA0543 EKG Aide, MA0 credit hour(s)
Students will learn about the cardiovascular system and the legal and ethical responsibilities of an EKG aide and demonstrate knowledge of how to apply and use medical instrumentation for EKG testing. Students will perform patient care techniques related to EKG testing in the healthcare setting. This course includes 24 hours of clinical or simulation rotations. Contact: 75 clock hours. Additional fee. Does not count towards A.A. or A.S. degree.
