STS2132 Surgical Technology II3 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): STS2131
This course is designed to provide the student with knowledge of intraoperative techniques. The main focus topics will be: handling drains and dressings, incisions, pouring and receiving medications and solutions, corrections of contaminations, handling, passing, disposing of sharps, labeling of medications advanced care and handling of specimens. Contact: 3 hours. Additional fee. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
