The Nurse Aide and Orderly course provides instruction to students related to the job of nurse assistant. Students will learn about verbal and written communication skills and ethics specific to nursing assistant, providing patient care procedures, principles of nutrition, providing care for geriatric patients, providing biological, psychological, and social support, following patient care plans, and assisting with rehabilitative activities. Contact: 75 clock hours. Additional fee. Does not count toward A.A. or A.S. degree.
