Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of the general education communications requirement.
This course will survey literature by Hispanic Americans throughout American history, with an emphasis on contemporary works. issues of varied influences, culture, disenfranchisement, agency, identity and inclusion will be among those considered. the student will develop an understanding of the Hispanic American experience and its rich literary traditions.
