Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of the general education communications requirement.
A study of world literature ranging from ancient times through the 17th century focusing on major works and their authors with an emphasis upon the literature as a significant reflection of and contribution to the political, cultural, social, religious, and economic milieu of each age. Lecture: 3 hours.
