SPC2608 Public Speaking3 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): SPC1017 is recommended, but not required.
This course affords students the ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to write clearly and engage in public speaking. Communication theory and its application to preparing and delivering public speeches. Emphasis on improving speaking and listening skills common to all forms of oral communication through a variety of experiences in public speaking. Lecture: 3 hours.
