SON1112C Abdominal Sonography II2 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): SON1111L
An in-depth course designed to cover all aspects of clinical abdominal ultrasound studies. Subject matter includes: review of normal anatomy (ultrasonic appearance), indications for ultrasound studies, clinical presentation and data, pathophysiological basis of disease, ultrasonic manifestations of diseases, recognition of adequate images, and scanning pitfalls. Contact: 2 hours. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
