ARH2050 Art History: Prehistory through Gothic3 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of the general education communications requirement.
This course affords students the ability to think critically through the mastering of subjects concerned with human culture, especially literature, history, art, music, and philosophy, and must include selections from the Western canon. Study of art styles in Europe from prehistory to the renaissance. Written work (3,500 words minimum). Contact: 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement.
