ENC1101 College Composition3 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): documented exemption, appropriate placement scores, or completion of developmental education reading and writing. This course introduces students to rhetorical concepts and audience-centered approaches to writing including composing processes, language conventions and style, and critical analysis and engagement with written texts and other forms of communication. Lecture: 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement. Students must complete this course with grade of C or better before enrolling in other communications courses.
