CGS2100 Microcomputer Applications for Business3 credit hour(s)
Prerequisite(s): grade of C or better in MAT1033 or OST1324 , or placed into MGF1130 or higher.
This course is designed for students who are familiar with personal computers, using a keyboard and using a mouse. It teaches students how to use computers (hardware and software) in business, including business applications, commercial packages and the Internet. This course provides an overview of microcomputer applications, including a brief introduction to computer concepts, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), the use of Web mail through the student’s TSC eAccount, Internet Explorer and integration of the applications.
