ARH2051 Art History: Renaissance through Contemporary3 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of the general education communications requirement. This course affords students the ability to think critically through the mastering of subjects concerned with human culture, especially literature, history, art, music, and philosophy, and must include selections from the Western canon. Study of European art styles from the Renaissance to the present. Written work (3,500 words minimum) is required. Contact: 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement.
