Program Purpose:
To prepare students for employment in a variety of healthcare settings. The students will apply knowledge of health information and electronic health record systems to function in a supportive role between healthcare providers and data reporting.
Coursework in this program articulates into the Health Information Technology, A.S. (2159) degree program.

Admission Requirements:
Admission requirements for TPP programs are the same as admission to the College: standard high school diploma or GED diploma. Most TPP program courses require students to be College-ready, which means the student must have appropriate placement scores, complete any needed developmental education or meet the requirements for a documented exemption.
