PHI2600 Ethics3 credit hour(s) | Fall | Spring | Summer Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of the general education communications requirement. The course consists of an introduction to the study of ethics (the rationale behind human behavior) through an examination of the theoretical traditions that span the globe and that date from the ancient through the modern world. Students will be introduced to a wide range of outstanding moral theorists whose ideas will be examined within the cultural contexts that gave them birth. Lecture: 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement.
