Program Purpose:
To prepare registered nurses to become efficient in critical care transport.
Note: Licensed paramedics and respiratory care professionals should choose the program for their discipline: Critical Care Transport for Emergency Medical Services Certificate (4006) or Critical Care Transport for Respiratory Care Certificate (4005) .
Employment Types:
Post-credential training for registered nurses.
Program Length:
9 credit hours
Admission Requirements:
Must be a registered nurse holding an associate degree or higher that routinely participates in interfacility transports involving critical care patients.
Program Application:
The program begins each Fall and each Spring semester. It is a limited-access program. Application procedures must be completed by the published application deadline and may be viewed on the program’s Web page (www.tcc.fl.edu/ems).
