Criminal Justice Technology


Program Purpose:
To prepare students for employment in the field of law enforcement, corrections or crime scene investigation and to meet the needs of persons employed in those fields who want to advance in their professions.

Employment Types:
Law Enforcement Officer, Crime Scene Investigator, Corrections Officer

Program Length:
64 credit hours

Admission Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED diploma and meet the required minimum scores on the Florida Postsecondary Education Readiness Test, SAT or ACT (or complete the necessary developmental courses)

Students may earn only one A.A.S. degree in this field. Students should choose either the Corrections specialization (A104), Crime Scene Investigation specialization (A111) or Law Enforcement specialization (A103) to align with their career goal.
