Program Purpose:
This program is a series of courses that prepares students to understand foundational knowledge as a basic healthcare worker, nurse aide, orderly, patient care assistant, and advanced allied health assistant. Students learn clinical patient care related to phlebotomy, electrocardiography, parenteral administration, point-of-care testing, assessment and management skills. This course provides instruction on administrative tasks related to patient care technicians. Upon successfully completing the program, students will have the opportunity to complete certification exams to earn: BLS/First Aid Certification, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), Certified EKG Technician (CET), and Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT).

600 clock hours
Admission Requirements:
Standard high school diploma or GED. Clear Level 2 Background Check, Clean Drug Test, and Immunizations, including a negative TB screen and current flu vaccination.
