Admission Requirements:
Background Check: As a requirement for admission into the Associate of Science in Cybersecurity program or enrollment in any of its core courses (CIS2352 , CTS2381 , CTS2123 , and CIS2384 ), a Level 2 background check must be performed. The background check includes FDLE, FBI, and local checks. For students who are not in the Cybersecurity A.S. program but wish to take core course(s), the background check will only be performed after they have enrolled in the first core course. The cost of the background check is the responsibility of the applicant, and all checks will be completed at the TSC Human Resources office. Only students who pass the background check will be reported to the AST Division of Cybersecurity designee. The information obtained from the background check will remain confidential and will be kept within the TSC Human Resources office.
