Program Purpose:
To provide broad, transferable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of engineering technology and industrial applications: production materials and processes, quality assurance, engineering drawings and drafting, electronics, mechanics, instrumentation and safety. Prepares students to sit for a national manufacturing-based certification (MSSC) exam that is portable, highly recognized and crosses the boundaries into all sectors of manufacturing and industrial fields.
Coursework in this program articulates into the Engineering Technology, A.S. (2163) degree program.
