Unarmed Private Security Officer PSAV Certificate (5021)

Program Purpose:
To prepare students to meet the minimum standards for class “D” licensure as unarmed private security officers through the Department of Agriculture. This license ensures that the public is served by private security officers who are ethical, qualified and well-trained.

This program is in accordance with the requirements of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission (CJSTC).

Program Length:
40 clock hours

Admission Requirements:
Applicant must have a standard high school diploma or GED diploma.
