Program Purpose:
To prepare students for further education and cybersecurity-related careers in the information technology career cluster.
Upon program completion, students will be prepared to sit for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam.
Note: This program will be offered only at the Florida Public Safety Institute in Gadsden County.

Program Length:
750 clock hours
Admission Requirements:
Standard high school diploma or GED diploma. Must be at least 18 years old.
Note: Students must take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) within the first semester of enrollment in the program or present evidence of allowable substitute. (Learn more .) In order to successfully complete the program, students must earn a score of 9.0 or higher in language and reading and a score of 10.0 or higher in mathematics.
