Program Purpose:
To provide broad, transportable skills and stresses understanding and demonstration of the following elements of engineering technology and industrial applications: production materials and processes, quality assurance, engineering drawings and drafting, electronics, mechanics, instrumentation and safety. Prepares students to sit for a national manufacturing-based certification (MSSC) exam that is portable, highly recognized and crosses the boundaries into all sectors of manufacturing and industrial fields.
Coursework in this program articulates into the Engineering Technology, A.S. (2163) degree program.

Admission Requirements:
Admission requirements for TPP programs are the same as admission to the College: standard high school diploma or GED diploma. Most TPP program courses require students to be College-ready, which means the student must have appropriate placement scores, complete any needed developmental education or meet the requirements for a documented exemption.
