Building Construction Specialist Certificate (6353)

Program Purpose:
To provide students with introductory knowledge of the modern residential and commercial construction industries. Topics include construction management, computer applications and materials science.

Coursework in this program articulates into the Building Construction Management, A.S. (2160)  degree program.

Employment Types:
Estimator, foreman, expeditor, superintendent, assistant project manager

Program Length:
18 credit hours

Admission Requirements:
Admission requirements for TPP programs are the same as admission to the College: standard high school diploma or GED diploma. Most TPP program courses require students to be College-ready, which means the student must have appropriate placement scores, complete any needed developmental education or meet the requirements for a documented exemption.
