EET1025C AC Circuits3 credit hour(s) | On Demand Prerequisite(s): satisfactory completion of EET1015C . This course covers the alternating current (AC) characteristics of electric circuits, using single or multiple sinusoidal voltage and current sources. The three component types (resistance, inductance and capacitance) will be used in various combinations to measure and analyze the effect on current and voltage in a circuit. Topics include two-port networks, three-phase power systems, series and parallel resonance, complex harmonic waveforms, high frequency modeling and power transformers. The laboratory exercises cover the measurement and analysis of alternating current circuits. Contact: 3 hours. Does not count toward A.A. degree.
