GEB3213 Advanced Communications in Business3 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): a grade of C or better in ENC1101 and MNA2130 You will study oral and written communication skills in business settings with considerations of a diverse and international workforce and customer base. Topics include active listening skills, verbal and nonverbal messages, presentation skills, organizational strategies, channels of communication, audience analyses, applied research techniques, and written skills in business correspondence. You will apply these skills in letters, memos, texts, emails, research, reports, and presentations using various media. This course requires significant amounts of writing. Contact: 3 hours.
