EUH1001 Western Civilization II3 credit hour(s) Prerequisite(s): documented exemption, appropriate placement scores, or completed developmental education reading and writing. Courses must afford students an understanding of the basic social and behavioral science concepts and principles used in the analysis of behavior and past and present social, political, and economic issues. A survey of the major economic, social, political, religious and cultural institutions and ideas from the early modern European period to the present. To examine the events in European history from the 17th century to the present and to examine the political, social, religious, ideological, cultural, and economic developments in Europe from the 17th century to the present.
