ETP1501 Alternative/Renewable Energy Technologies3 credit hour(s) This is a foundation course on various alternative and renewable energy technologies. Topics include energy conservation, solar power (including photovoltaic systems), passive solar heating techniques, fuel cell, wind, ocean, geothermal, bio-fuels, bio-gas technologies and nuclear energy. Students will be introduced to current policies, regulations and practices impacting alternative and/or renewable energy technologies. Contact: 3 hours. Course will not count toward credit for the A.A. degree.
