SLS0003 Foundations of Student Development1 credit hour(s) | Fall | Spring | Summer This course is designed to help students develop the basic skills necessary to become responsible learners and to prepare them for success in the classroom. Course topics include classroom behavior, attitude, basic study and test-taking skills, and introduction to TCC resources and technology and to TCC policies and procedures critical to the first semester. Students who place into any level of developmental English or reading (ENC0015 , REA0007 , ENC0025 , REA0017 , ENC0022 , ENC0027 , or REA0056 ) must enroll in SLS0003 in their first semester. Students cannot enroll in SLS0003 and at the same time. Contact: 1 hour. Does not count toward A.A. or A.S. degree.
