ANT2000 Introduction to Anthropology3 credit hour(s) | Fall | Spring | Summer Prerequisite(s): Documented exemption, appropriate placement test scores, or completion of developmental reading and writing. This course emphasizes a holistic approach to understanding what it means to be human: studying humans and human behavior from the perspectives of the subfields of anthropology, physical anthropology, cultural anthropology, anthropological linguistics, applied anthropology and archaeology. Contact: Lecture, 3 hours. Substantial writing component. Fulfills state writing requirement. Can be used to satisfy the Social Sciences State Core requirement. Fulfills the X multicultural requirement for transfer to Florida State University.
